We ordered on a Saturday (3/21) and received them Monday (3/30). The time from purchase to shipping could have been a little quicker, but when they started moving through the shipper, things went pretty fast (like 2-3 days)
Assembly was very easy. Directions are clear (for the most part). I didn't see in the directions where I was supposed to switch out the axle on the front wheel. I just happened to see axle was an extra part when I was finished and it had the securing clips on it that are shown in the directions that I couldn't find while trying to assemble it with the wrong axle. I did have to take them to a bike shop to adjust the gears. I'm 56 and bikes have changed a lot since I was building them 40+ years ago.
My wife and I went straight from the shop to the trail. Our 1st ride was just under 30 miles. We used a mixture of assisted and non assisted and the battery life was good. We each had 1 bar (out of 5) left. The battery stayed on 5 for most of the trip, but once it went to 4, it seemed that 3, 2 and 1 came quicker. We had an absolutely AMAZING time. Once we got home, naps were next on the agenda followed shortly by real sleep. LOL That exercise was much needed. The bike (for us) was an ideal purchase. If I could change anything about the bike itself, I'd like the universal screw holes made into the fringe so I could mount a water bottle and a more booty-friendly seat.
